Vislink Technologies, Inc. is moving onto the high-alert watchlist after reporting a stronger Q1 2026 that may signal a potential turnaround story for the company.

Vislink is a real-time video communications technology company serving defense, public safety, broadcast, sports, entertainment, and live production markets. The company provides live video solutions using RF, bonded cellular, 5G, and AI-driven technologies, giving it exposure to several growing communication and mission-critical video markets.

The latest catalyst is Vislink’s Q1 2026 financial report.

The company reported revenue of $5.4 million, up 17% year-over-year and 2% sequentially from Q4 2025.

Gross margin expanded to 65.0%, supported by a stronger mix of higher-margin Military/Government solutions.

One of the biggest highlights is EBITDA profitability. Vislink delivered $0.2 million in non-GAAP EBITDA profit, compared with a $2.2 million non-GAAP EBITDA loss in the prior-year quarter. For a small-cap turnaround setup, this is an important milestone because it shows the company is moving closer to a more sustainable operating model.

The Military/Government segment is the main bull-case driver. Vislink reported that MilGov revenue increased approximately 159% year-over-year and about 93% sequentially from Q4 2025. Management said MilGov contributed the majority of Q1 revenue, showing that the company’s shift toward higher-value defense and government markets is gaining traction.

Vislink also reported progress with public safety and defense customers, including deployment of a $1.0 million receive network with a large European public safety organization and shipment of a $1.0 million aerial video downlink system to a key European Ministry of Defense.

Another key watchlist factor is the company’s U.S. federal opportunity pipeline. Management said it has submitted eight RFI responses year-to-date across priority defense and homeland security agencies. The company believes its low-latency, mission-critical video technology is aligned with growing demand around unmanned systems, counter-UAS, 5G, and secure video communications.

Vislink also continues to support high-profile live production environments, including major sports and entertainment events. Earlier updates highlighted customer wins and product momentum across platforms such as Aero5, AeroLink, MobilCMDR 2, and MeshConnect, plus continued support for major live events such as MotoGP, Formula 1, NFL, NHL, Premier League, Winter Olympics, Academy Awards, and Emmys.

The bull case for $VISL is built around several key themes:

âś… Q1 2026 revenue growth

âś… First recent EBITDA profitability milestone

âś… Gross margin expansion to 65.0%

âś… Military/Government revenue surge

âś… Public safety and defense customer momentum

âś… U.S. federal defense and homeland security pipeline

âś… Live video, RF, 5G, and AI-driven technology exposure

âś… Cost discipline and lower operating expenses

However, $VISL remains a high-risk speculative stock. The company is still small, previously reported a full-year 2025 EBITDA loss, and management itself noted risks around sustaining EBITDA profitability, converting pipeline into revenue, product execution, competition, and U.S. federal budget timing.

Bottom line:

$VISL is a turnaround-style stock alert. The latest results show improving margins, better cost control, a stronger Military/Government mix, and a possible path toward profitability. Traders should keep VISL on watch for continued revenue growth, MilGov contract activity, federal pipeline updates, and confirmation that EBITDA profitability can be sustained.
